Alfamart Building in Banjar Collapses, Three People Died 

As of Monday midnight, the joint SAR team together with community volunteers were still evacuating a number of victims who were thought to be trapped. Rikwanto said that five people were thought to be still under the ruins of the old building.

“Temporary data there are 16 victims including six employees. Eight people were evacuated safely and three died,” he said.

Meanwhile, Alfamart’s Corporate Affairs Director, Solhihin, in an upload on Alfamart’s official Instagram account, said that his party would bear the medical expenses and compensation for the victims.

According to him, Alfamart’s management is also concerned and condolences for this incident. (*)
