Quoting cnnindonesia.com, Monday (4/18/2022) Chairman of the Committee for Handling Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery (KCP-PEN) Airlangga Hartarto said that this step was taken to minimize the potential for transmission of Covid-19, which is still transmitting.
“Even if there are eating and drinking activities, it must be in accordance with the distance and place,” said Airlangga in his written statement.
In addition, Airlangga also asked people not to go on vacation abroad during the upcoming Eid long holiday. This is because the Covid-19 condition in a number of countries is still increasing, in contrast to Indonesia, which is currently experiencing a downward trend in Covid-19 cases in recent weeks.
